One thing I know for sure: The A Cinderella Story soundtrack just came in the mail from Amazon.com. If you're a fan of Desmond Child fan or just love space rock when it's done right, you'll love what Hil 'n them did on this motherfucker. Shit. It's so rare that new music comes out, I can't help but get giddy. Forgive my irrational exuberance.
Crash.
Every few days I remember why I'm a Hilary Duff devotee and how she made life worth living when Britney got old and sold out/went pop. As her new shit drops, however, I'm reminded of how T. Razzle and NIN have been stringing us along for a good six or so years and how Trent doesn't do music anymore (despite insisting that he does [see his recent updates about how he's working with Dave Grohl--sure you are buddy]).
That sort of thing makes me feel like I'm living on the wrong side of a parallel universe.
And the cigarette burns down like a hypodermic plunger the size of every American tweendream.
