While driving, I reflect on the language of advertisements and the upcoming Box Social at Ice Planet Hell.

I think that one of the few elements of the human experience is nearly universally appreciated and respected is written communication. I came to this conclusion while driving--I was thinking about how many things that ostensibly have nothing to do with writing and are yet given names from the world of written communication.
The 'Notepad' mixer, the 'folio' version of whatever software, the 'manuscript' edition of the record album, the 'signature' version of the automobile or clothing item, etc.
The next time you want to class up a noun, throw an adjective from the world of written communication in front of it.
I learned that the NIN logo--famed in song and story--was initially devised by t. razzle and friend during the making of the 'Down In It' video. Apparently the Rzle wanted 'something cool to stitch on' his leather jacket.
Personally, I don't understand how we're going to start a two day box social on a Thursday.
But that's just me, and I'm a man of limited vision, imagination and intellectual dexterity.
