This is either a sign of nascent maturity or some sort of relapse into adolescent histrionics, but I asked myself the following question in absolute seriousness earlier. Thought about it for a good minute too.
What do I want to be doing in ten years?
Jeff observed that 'all people' were 'worthless crap' this evening. He asked us why anyone would even bother with the random lottery of meaningless tragedies and near-escapes that is the unnecessarily complex and ultimately intensely distasteful experience of social interaction.
I found myself pondering that one for a decent interval as well.
Introspection, it turns out, carried the day once again; I found myself thinking a lot about what I do or don't think.
Having a bad hangover will do that to you.
