For those of you who are interested, there's a certain file extension for the special icons that appear in your Control Panel. This extension is .cpl. This little bit of knowledge is real handy if you're looking to pull an entry from your control panel and you can't find any other way to do so (i.e. manually uninstalling software when the add/remove function doesn't work). But anyway, we're coming up on my last two days as an IT professional, btw. I guess I already miss it.
Speaking of things I miss, I also spent some time reorganizing my old class notes on the old laptop here. Turns out I'm actually something of an armchair academic on the side. "Boy," you must be thinking, "he sure do wear a lot of hats."
I prefer to think of myself as less of a polyvalent and more of a flake.
