Fly
I arrive in Connecticut. I settle in. I shake a threatening fist at Yale's IT department.

New York has great Top 40 stations. Yeah, they've got more than one--and they're all great.
In related news, I heard from Hilary Duff, who was guest-hosting Ryan Seacrest's top 40 countdown on K100 (or something like that), that her eponymous album will be in stores on September 28th. Mark your motherfucking calendars.
Back in the real world, I moved into my New Haven residence this afternoon. The place is huge and so quiet... you can even see the stars. I'm looking at them right now. I'll try to get some pictures to the world soon--right now I'm using a Cat5 cable with one broken end to pull un-firewalled ethernet through a jack that's doing some kind of bizarro DNS that appears to have been designed to stymie routers by registering mac addresses and then assigning IP numbers to those mac addresses when they pop up on the network. With any luck, I can get around that by registering the NIC card on me trusty laptop here and spoofing his mac address with my router.
Tomorrow's update will probably be titled 'Joe vs. The Volcano' or 'Me vs. Yale's IT Dept.'
I'm gonna go outside now and smoke some cigarettes. Maybe check out the stars.
