Just so we're absolutely clear, I fully endorse physical violence.
I was recently asked to clarify my stance on physical violence; it was suggested that I don't actually advocate physical violence. Rather, one of my apologists alleged, my metaphors tend toward the Martial and thus it only seems as though I am recommending violence. I would just like to make it absolutely clear that I have no qualms about recommending that anyone with a mind to do so should attempt to get his tiny bridle and saddle upon that 100-ton beast we call the 'supreme authority from which all authority is derived'.
My metaphors are Martial because I want there to be no mistakes that I believe that violence is the answer. If I didn't, why would I spend so much time extolling and explaining the logic of laws, lawgivers and legalisms? Why would I be so interested in writing on behalf of those reviled hegemons who built the foundations for this golden age with a spade in one hand a sword in the other?
I fully endorse physical violence both against oneself and against others.
From this is does not follow that I'm about to participate in expressions of physical violence or that I'm going to initiate violent encounters. Personally, I believe that the ability to avoid physical confrontations is much more difficult to teach and learn than the ability to start them and thus that the former is a nobler pursuit than the latter.
If I were asked to clarify my stance with a totally unironic axiom, I would offer that, 'blood, in these times, is far too precious a thing; it is a golden age'.
