April may be the cruelest month, but March is certainly the most vicious.
If your vice is anger or pride, the month named for the alternately proud and wrathful war god ought to be your favorite. If your hobbies include fulfilling the lusts of the flesh--if you are a man of great appetites--or even if your vice is as simple as sloth and you just prefer to be left alone, you'll be happy to know that spring break takes up more than half of the month of March.
And while it's true that the first day of March heralds nothing specifically for the avaricious and those prone to envy, those sins are always in season and they really don't need a commemorative month.
