Writing at length has always been difficult for me.
I'm not sure what the problem is, but there's something about the way I work that makes it really difficult for me to write at length. It's not that I don't have the attention span to assemble projects over a long period of time. Rather, it's something about maintaining focus and remembering what I first set out to accomplish that keeps me from writing more than 5000 words (tops) on a given topic.
I've always had a problem with memory. The fact that this website exists is a testament to my memory problems: I started it so that I'd have a place to collect my thoughts and not forget them moments after they occurred to me.
Maybe if there was something similar that I could do when attempting to write long term. Something that would help me keep my original plans at the front of my mind.
