There comes this point when you genuinely feel like every day is exactly the same.
It doesn't necessarily happen when you're literally doing the same thing every day, often you can fill your day with diverse tasks and still feel, totally unironically, like every day is the same as the last. They blend together, the days do, and no matter what happens, you feel like you're moving in a small circle.
I guess it's what they call being "in a rut."
It's sort of paradoxical to allege that one could busy himself with all manner of hobbies, obligations and pass times and still feel the same, all day every day. But if you remember the old saw, the one about "no matter where you go, you can't get away from yourself," it begins to make a certain kind of sense.
No matter what you do, you're always doing it with yourself.
