Here is an annotated list of some things I'd like to discuss, but due to my own profound dereliction of duty, will not be able to tonight (and probably not until Saturday or Sunday night):
Jurgen Moltmann. There's much to discuss right now; this is the eve of our fated encounter. However, in the Dickensian spirit of cliffhanger installments, I'm gonna go ahead and let that one hang for a while. Stay tuned for the particulars of my time with the Molt man.
Monster. The film, not the album by former indie/college darlings R.E.M. I'd like to spend some time issuing an informal critical injunction against the perjured souls who contrived to stitch the various pieces of this pithy heart-string-yanker, but alas, when it rains, etc.
Fable. The long awaited (and if you've followed it as I have, you know just how long) Xbox exclusive from the 'it' design houses headed by French video game auteur Peter Molyneux Lionhead Studios and Big Blue Box shan't be discussed tonight. This, unlike the other things on this annotated list, is probably best put off for a later time. WhileI've got strong initial impressions that should probably be comitted to paper before I'm hopelessly inured of this should-have-been-seminal title, I'm gonna go ahead and wait.
The Variorum per A. MacGregor. I know I promised to look at the handouts I uploaded on Monday, but this week has gone from ice cold to red hot in the space of one day. This, by the bye, reminds me of an hilarious sign I saw in Hamden while dropping the keg from last week's Fellowship off at Liquor Land. The sign read was posted outside of a convenience store and read: 'Ice Cold Ice.'
SO, as soon as I'm able, I'll try to get back to those things I've mentioned (unfortunately only) in passing above. I've also got a substantial bit of reading to catch up on as well.
