Matt Brent was the original inspiration for this project and for so many others; in one of those odd vicissitudes of friendship, it is in these writings that I know I disappoint him most.
Artie Jordan, as always, deserves thanks for being the lynch pin of the social and information networks upon which this and so many other projects depend: one day, I'm going to make it a priority to somehow repay him for consistently lending me so much of his great resourcefulness and charity. Perhaps by letting go of his coattails (don't hold your breath).
Martin Walsh and Trevor Turk taught me what precious little I know about programming an interface and indexing content. I could have learned so much from them both: the mess before you is a reflection of my personal failings as a student, not of theirs as teachers.
